Born just outside of Moscow, Russia, and raised in Michigan, Logan began filmmaking at age 11 by documenting his skateboarding adventures. What started as capturing everyday moments grew into a passion for storytelling, creating worlds, and building unique cinematic imagery.

After developing his craft in Michigan, Logan spent the last decade between Los Angeles and New York City, while continuing to draw inspiration from his Midwest roots. His films are shaped by the contrast of small towns and major cities, finding beauty in everyday places, unique characters, and the details that often go unnoticed.

His work pulls from a wide range of influences including photography books, fashion imagery, and surrealism, alongside filmmakers like Terrence Malick and Harmony Korine and the bold visual worlds of photographers like Guy Bourdin. Logan blends natural beauty and nostalgia with moments that feel strange, imperfect, and unexpected.

When he’s not on set or behind a computer, Logan can usually be found spending summers at the lake in Michigan with his family, traveling with his girlfriend Ali, golfing, or catching a Detroit or Michigan game.
